How Do I Calibrate My Sleeve?

Proper calibration of your Neural Sleeve is essential for achieving optimal therapy results. The calibration process allows the system to understand your unique movement patterns and muscle responses, enabling it to deliver precisely timed stimulation tailored to your specific needs. While the process is designed to be straightforward, occasional challenges can arise that may affect the accuracy of your calibration. This guide addresses common calibration issues and provides step-by-step solutions to ensure your Neural Sleeve functions at its best, giving you the confidence to complete this crucial setup step successfully.

Troubleshooting: Calibration Issues

If you encounter calibration problems or if the skeleton doesn’t properly replicate your movements:

  • Try calibrating again

To do this, click on the gait protocol and then “reconfigure”. Please ensure that you are standing with your toes pointed forward before pressing the “I’m Ready” button and that you remain in this position until the green check mark appears. The same applies to the seated position with the leg extended — get into this position before pressing the “I’m Ready” button, and stay in this position until you see the green check mark.

You may then proceed through the muscle groups until you reach the skeleton page, letting you know that you are now ready to walk.

Other things to check:

  • Ensure the sleeve is properly positioned on your leg
  • Check that electrode pads are firmly adhered to your skin
  • Make sure all electrode pads are in good condition
  • Verify the Control Unit is securely connected to the sleeve
  • Try restarting the Control Unit and app
  • For persistent issues, contact Customer Care

Successful calibration is critical for optimal Neural Sleeve performance. Take your time with this process to ensure accurate results.
